Give Sound to Your Project With Royalty-Free Music

without comments

Also there are music libraries which offer music without any royalty. But just surf some web pages and see if you could find a library offering quality music tracks, of course without any royalty.

Royalty issue arises whenever you want to use a track or piece of music in your film, video or even on the computer. If the track is the private property of a company then you need to pay a fixed amount as royalty to the company who owns the copyright of the track you want to use. Using a track without paying the royalty is akin to theft and punishable under law. Your company can get blacklisted; you may get fined heavily or imprisoned. With companies offering music without asking for any royalty, it is foolish to pay such huge sums as royalty for music.

Some people assume that royalty-free music is not good in quality hence worthless to use. This assumption is totally wrong because the music in these free libraries is recorded under optimal conditions for superior sound quality. Every care is taken that the track recorded sounds original. You could hear a perfect balance between bass and treble. In addition, the variety of audio tracks available in free music libraries is superb. Even the most discerning users can choose their tracks without any hassle.

What’s Happening With 5.1 Surround Sound Music?

without comments

A few years ago 5.1 surround sound DVD video players looked likely to become standard kit in every living room in the technology friendly world.

So now a few years on, what has happened to the original promise of surround sound music? Well the answer to that is ‘lots, but not nearly enough.’

For those that don’t know already, 5.1 surround sound is basically five speakers and a sub-woofer placed around your room allowing you to listen to music or a movie soundtrack literally surrounded by speakers. The film industry pioneered it for theatres and it then became available as a DVD player add-on for home entertainment systems.

Now at least 100,000,000 people world-wide own systems, which can and should be used for all manner of surround sound music DVDs.

I hear you say, ‘but surround sound music on DVD hasn’t really caught on. All that wire in my living room’.

Even though the consumer can buy a DVD player and surround speaker system cheaply enough, surround sound music hasn’t really caught fire yet. Why?

There are reasons why we should all remain confident that surround sound music will become more popular, but at the moment it’s still an infant child.

The amount of different DVD and surround sound formats is confusing and can be offputting.

The consumer desperately wants an end to the confusing compatibility war between different surround sound formats.

My Favorite Things – Sound of Music

with 25 comments

Download this cover on iTunes: www.tinyurl.com More Videos: www.youtube.com Pomplamoose is Nataly Dawn and Jack Conte A VideoSong is a new Medium with two rules: 1. What you see is what you hear (no lip-syncing for instruments or voice). 2. If you hear it, at some point you see it (no hidden sounds). My Favorite Things by Richard Rogers Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein: Rain drops on roses, whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles, warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favorite things. Cream colored ponies, crisp apple strudels, doorbells and sleigh-bells, schnitzel with noodles, wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings, these are a few of my favorite things. When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I’m feeling sad, I simply remember my favorite things and then I don’t feel… Silver white winters that melt into springs, these are a few of my favorite things…
